Just wondering. If Schumacher holds the records for most championships, but we still consider Senna as the best, what would propel Vettel over Senna as the GOAT?

Is this a 1967 427 Vette? I'd let one of these propel me to the top any day, if you know what I mean.
No, wait, that didn't come off right....

A car that didn't drive itself is the only thing I can think of. Seriously though, Legends are appreciated far more after their reign of greatness is over.

NOTHING, they would have to switch back to manuals and he would have to turn off his traction control... Both highly unlikely. Or, maybe if he dies in a fireball in Austin....

He'd have to win something meaningful. At the moment we know no more than that he's a pretty good driver. It's not even obvious he's the best driver on the grid. As long as he's in a car that even manages to make Webber quick, he's not proving anything to anyone.

By all rights he should be just about there now. He has competed toe to toe with Alonso and won. The issue there is the cars haven't been on the same par. I think for those to really consider him GOAT he needs a few years of close fights. Would Schumacher's victories be as great if he hadn't had Hakkennen? Senna without Prost?

He needs to drive in a car as bad as the current Ferrari, while still being fast, to prove it to me.
